Jagan Appears in a DA Case Before the Nampally CBI Court

Hyderabad: Under strict security on Thursday, former chief minister and YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy appeared before the special court for CBI proceedings in disproportionate assets (DA) cases in the Nampally criminal court complex here. Jagan traveled by vehicle to the court after first arriving at Begumpet airport from Vijayawada. He appeared before the court after receiving instructions from it to make sure he was there in person for the hearing of the DA case that the CBI was looking into on or before November 21. Following the CBI’s strong opposition to Jagan Mohan Reddy’s request for an exemption, the court issued these directives.

When Jagan visited the city, the Hyderabad police enforced strict security. To guarantee easy access to Jagan’s convoy, the police implemented traffic restrictions. YSRCP leaders and Jagan’s supporters flocked to the Nampally court and Begumpet airport to see him. The cops found it challenging to keep them under control. The police prevented outsiders from entering the court complex as a precaution.
