Karimnagar: Union Minister of State for Home Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that the BJP will form the next Mayor of Karimnagar Municipal Corporation. He assured to protect the properties of the people in Karimnagar. He warned that the leaders who occupy people’s places in Karimnagar would face the brunt. He recalled that 9 corporators were arrested and put in jail for encroachments during the BRS regime. In Karimnagar, the BJP will win only 4 seats. The Congress and the MIM together won’t cross 20 seats. He said funds were coming from the Centre and promised more development if the Mayor’s chair was handed over to him.
Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar campaigned in Rajasthan Chaurasta, Loyola College and Butti Rajaram Colony in Karimnagar. The candidates from divisions 16, 19 and 20 are Gitta Rajendra Prasad, Moola Rukmini and Jadi Bal Reddy.

The Sreelakshmi Homes area has a severe drainage problem. There is no proper supply of drinking water. There is no road extension near Rajasthan Hotel in SC Colony. The road from Lakshmipur to Chintakunta is badly damaged but no new road can be laid. There are no security guards, no CCTV cameras, no street lights.

Rs 132 crore has come through AMRUT 2.0. The entire water supply in the Chintakunta area of Malkapur will change the contours of the area. A total of 11 new CC roads have been constructed for Malkapur at a cost of Rs. The drains will be constructed at a cost of Rs. 11.60 crore. Funds are available for this. Tender process has been completed and the work will begin. There are also six roads for drainage. Rs 6. 52 crore. A statue of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar would be installed in the area. Rekurthi’s face in Karimnagar has shown a change in terms of development with the Smart City funds of the Central Government. On the other hand, some land grabbers are destroying the lands here. We have taken necessary steps for the development of the people here. Most of the roads here have been built with the Smart City funds given by the Centre. The road from Rekurthi Chowrasta to Chintakunta Chowrasta via University has been widened with the help of National Highway funds and the road has been beautified with central lighting. CC roads have been laid in many colonies and new roads have been laid in Satavahana Colony. Lions Eye Hospital road has been constructed. Basti Dawakhana has been established in Rekurthi for the poor people with the funds of National Health Mission.
In the 20th division, roads have been laid from the smart city in the Shiva temple area. At present, water pipeline work is going on in some places. We will complete it soon. With the funds that came with AMRUT 1.0, we have solved some of the drinking water problems in the region. The funds received under AMRUT 2.0 will be used to provide drinking water to every street within six months. New toilets will be constructed and new toilets will be constructed.
Also from this Rekurthi to Kothapalli. We will build a new route to Kothapalli with street lights by laying a road and excellent dividers. Recently, two new roads in Rekurthi were constructed at a cost of Rs. 94 crore. Work will start after the elections.
