Film: After numerous delays, Anushka Shetty’s upcoming big movie, Ghaati, will finally be released on theaters on September 5.
The action-packed movie will be available in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. Krish Jagarlamudi is the director of this action-packed thriller. The movie was supposed to come out in the summer, but it was delayed.
On Thursday, August 7, the film’s makers unveiled the teaser, which featured Anushka in a strong role opposing injustice.
Following their successful 2010 film Vedam, Anushka Shetty and director Krish Jagarlamudi are collaborating once more.
With works like Gamyam (2008), Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum (2012), and NTR: Kathanayakudu and NTR Mahanayakudu (2019), Krish is a well-known director in the Telugu cinema industry.
The film’s creators claim that Ghaati is a compelling story of vengeance, atonement, and retribution in which a victim who turns criminal becomes a legendary figure. In this film that focuses on women, Anushka portrays an authoritative figure.
First Frame Entertainment Pvt Ltd and UV Creations collaborated on the creation of Ghaati.
The writers are Burra Sai Madhav, Krish Jagarlamudi, and Chintakindi Srinivas Rao, while the producers are Vamsi and Rajiv Reddy.
Following the movie’s theatrical debut, Amazon Prime Video purchased the streaming rights.
A one-minute introduction video featuring Anushka in a new avatar brandishing a sickle was also released by the producers. She kills a man after boarding a bus.
Additionally, Anushka will appear in Kathanar: The Wild Sorcerer, a Malayalam film. It is directed by Rojin Thomas, a National Award-winning director.
Anushka Shetty last appeared with Naveen Polishetty in Miss Shetty and Mr. Polishetty. With Anushka portraying a chef and Naveen a stand-up comedian, the romantic comedy drama performed well at the box office.
