CID Asks More Famous People About Promoting Betting Apps

Hyderabad: The Crime Investigation Department (CID) officers on Friday questioned actress Nidhi Agarwal and TV presenters Srimukhi and Amrutha Choudhary for promoting betting apps and collected data on their financial transactions on Friday. According to sources, they came before the CID officials together with their separate legal advisers. They were questioned for an hour by the CID.

According to reports, in order to get the celebrities to endorse the betting apps, the CID questioned them about financial transactions between the anchors and the app managers. They were also questioned individually by the CID officials, who called each person individually and recorded their answers. The officials asked how the Apps management dealt with female anchors and their function as intermediaries in financial transactions.

Actors Prakash Raj, Vijay Devarakonda, and Rana Daggubati were previously questioned by CID officials for endorsing betting apps. As part of the case investigation, the CID personnel have recorded their comments. The CID filed charges against 29 individuals and the operators of betting applications for deceiving several young people in Telangana and causing them to commit suicide as a result of financial loss.
