Julith café in Dubai sells the world’s most expensive coffee for about $1000 per cup

A café in Dubai ensures that its patrons pay an outrageous sum for a cup of coffee. A cup of unusual coffee costs almost $1,000 at the Julith café.
The café is serving what could be the “world’s most expensive cup,” according to The Independent. The asking price is 3,600 dirhams, or roughly $980. The Nido 7 kind of Geisha beans, a rare and premium strain cultivated on the volcanic slopes of Mount Bare in western Panama, is what makes this unique.
“At last, the wait is over. In a Facebook video, Serkan Sagsoz, co-founder of the expensive Julith café, declared, “The world’s most celebrated and highest graded coffee of all time has arrived at Julith.”
Upcoming plans
Located in an industrial area that has become a popular destination for coffee enthusiasts, Julith intends to serve “around 400 cups” of the valuable beverage, Sagsoz told AFP.
“We believed that Dubai was the ideal location for our investment. There’s a hint of apricot and peach, citrus flavors like orange and bergamot, and white flowery notes like jasmine,” Sagsoz said.
“It’s like honey, delicate and sweet,” said Sagsoz, a former Turkish café owner.
Guinness World Record
Last month, Dubai set a Guinness record for the world’s most expensive cup of coffee, according to AFP. This occurred when Roasters began charging an astounding 2,500 dirhams for a beverage.
The Julith Café bought the beans during an auction in Panama. It’s interesting to note that hundreds of offers were placed throughout the auction’s neck-to-neck struggle, which lasted for many hours.
Julith ultimately paid the most for coffee, according to AFP.
The café said in a news statement that it purchased 20 kg of the coffee beans for about 2.2 million dirhams ($600,000).
