Hyderabad: On Friday, suspended BRS MLC K Kavitha made fun of the party for losing the Jubilee Hills Assembly bypoll, claiming that “karma hits back.”
Following the announcement of the by-election results, she posted on X, saying, “Karma hits back.” After accusing her cousins and party leaders T Harish Rao and J Santosh Kumar of “tarnishing” her father K Chandrasekhar Rao’s reputation over the Kaleshwaram project, Kavitha was suspended from the BRS in September. Under the auspices of Telangana Jagruti, the cultural organization she leads, she has been concentrating on public concerns since her suspension. V Naveen Yadav, a Congress candidate, defeated Maganti Sunitha, his closest BRS opponent, by almost 24,000 votes to win the Jubilee Hills by-election on Friday.
