Hyderabad: K Kavitha has resigned as the MLC and from the party’s primary membership after being suspended by the BRS for alleged anti-party conduct.
K Kavitha resigned from her position and the party’s primary membership on Wednesday, one day after the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) suspended her from the party on Tuesday.
“It is very painful that I am suddenly suspended from the BRS party,” Kavitha added, describing her suspension as “painful.”
Speaking to the media about her suspension, Kavitha declared, “I am resigning from the MLC position and the party’s primary membership.”
She went on, “I am submitting my resignation to the Speaker as well as to K Chandrasekhar Rao, the party chief and her father.”
She declared, “I will talk with the Telangana Jagruti members and decide on the next steps, but I am not going with any party.”
Speaking to the press, Kavitha also discussed her connection with her brother KT Rama Rao and KCR.
“My family consists of KCR and KTR garu. Blood ties us together. “This bond shouldn’t be broken for things like losing posts or being kicked out of the party,” she remarked.
But for their own political and personal development, some people want our family to fall apart,” she claimed.
“I’m asking my dad to look into the party leaders who are close to him. I was direct in what I said and asked him to think about it. While on a trip together, (Telangana Chief Minister) Revanth Reddy and (BRS MLA) Harish Rao reportedly plotted to ruin our family,” she claimed.
“Revanth Reddy ought to take responsibility for this. He did not file charges against Harish Rao; he only filed them against my relatives, KTR, and KCR. Revath Reddy didn’t criticize Harish Rao, who was the irrigation minister when the Kaleshwaram project started, according to Kavitha.
It is believed that Harish Rao and Santosh Rao, his cousin, are plotting to ruin our celebration and family. Harish Rao was a “bubble shooter,” but he wasn’t bothered. She said that he paid people to work against KCR and KTR in the Assembly elections.
The suspended MLC further said that she informed KTR about the purported plots against her, but he ignored her.
“I met Brother KTR while I visited Bhavan. I informed him of the fake campaign against me and the intrigues. I asked him to be an MLC of the party, not just a sister, but he didn’t care. “He didn’t even give me a call,” Kavitha told reporters.
“This occurred a long time ago. As a party MLC and working president, I voiced my displeasure with these plots. Anna, did you do anything about this? Did you say anything at all about it? She inquired.
SUSPENDED FROM BRS, K KAVITHA
The party said on Tuesday that Kavitha’s anti-party actions were the reason for her suspension.
In a statement to the media, party general secretary T Ravinder Rao and another general secretary (in charge of disciplinary issues), Soma Bharat Kumar, stated that Kavitha’s father, BRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao, had chosen to suspend her with immediate effect.
The BRS is suffering as a result of Kavitha’s recent actions and her anti-party activities. It stated that the leadership had given it careful consideration.
